Helicon Health is supporting Speak Up for COPD. Did you know – someone dies every 10 seconds from COPD?
COPD, or chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, is the third largest cause of death, but no one talks about it. As a result, it is under-prioritised, underfunded and undertreated.
Helicon Health is supporting The Speak Up for COPD campaign for three main reasons as follows:
- To help drive awareness and interest in the Hailie smartInhaler and its role in reducing COPD and asthma exacerbations and unscheduled hospital admissions
- To support friends and families suffering from COPD
- To share the suffering experienced by people like Elina aged 33 and Pauline Masters aged 73 – who share their life stories of COPD in the video link below.
