Helicon® Health expands remote patient monitoring and virtual ward solutions with announcement of Distribution Agreement with Adherium Limited, a leader in respiratory eHealth.
London, England – 17th June 2022: Helicon Health a leader in delivering healthcare virtually is pleased to announce it has signed an agreement to distribute and integrate the Hailie® sensor range and cloud data services on behalf of Adherium Limited (“Adherium”; ASX: ADR). Adherium is a leader in respiratory eHealth, remote patient monitoring and virtual ward solutions.
Adherium’s Hailie® smart digital inhaler attaches to a patient’s Asthma or COPD medication inhaler and connects via the Hailie® app to Helicon’s comprehensive remote patient monitoring platform. The combination creates, for the first time, the most advanced quality of care for respiratory patients that are on Virtual Wards, at home and in any other remote setting. Adherium’s Hailie® sensors monitor medication adherence and the new, next generation sensors, provide actionable data about technique and physiology for the clinical team to make timely decisions on patient care.
Helicon Health is a medical technology development company, an NHS-focused contract research partner and specialised medical device accelerator. The signing of this distribution agreement for an initial three-year term follows the recent appointment of Francis White as Vice President of Global Business Development and cements Adherium’s growth strategy to partner with leading players globally across strategically important geographies especially in the USA and UK to expand its footprint and deliver enhanced remote patient care.
